Program Specific Competency Goals
- Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant
Upon completion of the Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant, graduates will:
- Work within the legal guidelines and professional standards for the physical therapist assistant in the delivery of high-quality health care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. (CC.05 Professionalism)**
- Implement treatment plans and physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist. (CC.03 技术)**
- Show sensitivity to cultural, 少数民族, gender and lifestyle differences. (CC.04 多样性)**
- Possess the ability to effectively translate theory into practice to meet the demands of a dynamic health care system. (CC.02 Critical Thinking)**

- Assume leadership roles in the advancement of the profession by participating one or more of the following areas: research, 教育, continuing 教育 and service of a professional organization. (Professionalism)**
